About the competition

Slowly, but surely the world of robots known from s-f movies becomes the reality. One can find robots on Earth and in Space, in army and industry, and even in households. Robots help us everywhere, and their potential applications are virtually limitless. For several years we have been observing a significant boom of interest in robotics. We say that the best way to begin the adventure with robots is by constructing them. At present many countries organize robot competitions with many different categories. Seven of them are nanosumo, microsumo, minisumo, sumo, micromouse, line follower and freestyle. In order to participate in the championship you have to build a robot which meets the requirements and register it.
